its been a while since i updated the journal... i was just too lazy to write anything...or... just had nothing interesting to say. winter break was kinda like all the other winter breaks... just chillin at home and playing video games... but this time it was A LOT of video games... a lot of counterstrike, a lot of super smash bros., a lot of THPS3, and a lot of counterstrike. what a shame... i need to find something else to do w/ my time.
we (my family) were planning to go to vegas for the new years, but my dad had rounds because the person who was covering for him had "something suddenly come up"... bs i tell you, bs. but anyway, it sucked for my dad cause he was in the hospital in the surgery rooms for all new years eve/day. but meanwhile our family had a little gathering w/ my cousins and stuff... my cousins pulled an all nighter on new year's eve and we played mafia w/ 4 people... i was god. i pulled a verwin on them by putting no mafia on one round; its really funny picking someone to die to promote mass confusion for the citizens ;D
i amassed a lot of money this month... ~500 for b'day, ~900 for christmas... the only thing is that i just found out that i ran out of checks, and the remaining checks are at LA! and since i don't have a check card or credit card, im SOL! oh well... i guess it should permit me saving that money, which i know (knowing myself) that the money will all be gone by march anyway. just paying w/ cash and visiting the banks often.
i feel rested, but it was just way too short.
i went to the bookstore today, got my books and stuff... daisy and linda were there... i went to her to purchase the books, then we talked about our breaks and stuff... nothing spectacular... after i talked to daisy, i talked to linda... we talked the same stuff, but in between there was that weird time where we just looked at each other for a couple of seconds... just plain awkward... but yeah... after that i left the bookstore to go back home...
...i got a gamecube as a "christmas gift" for my brothers... hehe. its sweet stuff... picked up super smash bros, thps3, and rogue squadron and 3 controllers... good stuff.
so currently im feeling kinda sick. i think i picked up a cold from my house... my parents are all into keeping the electricity and gas down, so we don't use the heater... that's nice and all, except for the fact that the freakin house gets down to 50 degrees at some times because our house is on the windward side of the hill... so it gets hella windy and hella cold. however, on a good note, since we didn't use the heaters, i got some really nice sweaters for christmas/bday/new year's :)
my parents are really pressuring me to do really well this quarter, like A range now... i think i can do it... i did it in high school too... my first two years in high school i got tons of C's and even one or two D's... but then the next two years i improved greatly... A's across the board... some quarters i had a 4.5 gpa... woo hoo! the same thing happened in grade school... 3-5 grade... whack ass grades... 6th grade... number 1 in the class, top 5 in grade... yeah that's some hella comeback grades... i told my bro that i named the comeback the "vincent comeback" and he told me that the name for my comeback kinda was unoriginal and plain sucked. hey, i think its cool.
i don't mention anything about SigEp anymore... i just hope that getting out will be relatively painless... figuratively and literally. that was just totally random. i just wanted to say that just cause i saw my big bro go online just now, so i put up my away message... the toilet one, of all away messages...
oh yeah... for all you counterstrike players... beware of me and the MAC10! i use a phatty combo nowadays... MAC10 and deagle.... its cheap and fast and effective... oh and i got this CS realism update where they changed most of everything in CS where all the guns, models, and sounds look a lot better and more realistic... they even changed the explosions and the blood splatters everywhere!
hmm... anything else... umm... i don't think so... other than planning to remove cs soon... but yeah... im gonna rock this quarter like that bull riding machine rocked that one guy in that levi's commercial...
